The Toffees boss has revealed to talkSPORT he is set to hold talks with the club’s majority shareholder, as he looks to continue his revival at Goodison Park.
Allardyce has transformed Everton’s fortunes since taking over at the end of November. He has claimed seven points from three Premier League games in charge, with Wednesday’s 1-0 win over Newcastle lifting the team to tenth in the table.
But Big Sam is still without a number of his big-name players due to long-term injury, and the boss has admitted he is hoping to reshuffle his large squad when the window opens.
Asked if he has any talks planned with Moshiri over his January targets, Allardyce told talkSPORT host Jim White: “We’ll probably be doing that at some stage today [Thursday] or tomorrow [Friday].
“With us not playing until Monday, there will be a conversation between a few of us regarding one or two targets.
“Maybe at some stage we’ll talk about lightening the squad too, because this is a big squad of players at the moment and one or two players may consider their future lies elsewhere.”
