Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane have become the latest forwards to pass 50 goals for the calendar year after they each struck twice on Saturday.
Ronaldo, who showed off his latest Ballon d'Or award before kick-off, registered twice as Real Madrid thumped fellow UEFA Champions League hopefuls Sevilla 5-0, with all the goals coming before the interval. Kane hit a double of his own in the second half of Tottenham's 5-1 victory over Stoke.
In doing so they became the fourth and fifth players to reach 50 goals for 2017 in the process and, with just a handful of matches to go before the end of the year, the five are within two goals of each other!
