Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger tipped for shock return to management under Ivan Gazidis at AC Milan
Wenger has been out of work since leaving the Gunners in May and could be about to team up with his former colleague
Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is being linked with a shock return to management with AC Milan.
Wenger, 68, has been out of work since leaving the Emirates at the end of last season.
And although he recently said he plans to return to work in 2019, Wenger could be getting fast-tracked to the San Siro this month.
It’s not clear whether current Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso will be relieved of his duties as the club have won their last three games.
However, according to France Football, the former midfielder is under pressure after his summer splurge of £150million has not produced the results the Milan hierarchy were hoping for.
And former Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis – who left his position as CEO in September – has taken a similar role at Milan.
Gazidis and Wenger had a strong working relationship in the nine years they worked together.
