Transfer news: Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly made a world-record £239million move for Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho
But Spanish side unwilling to let former Liverpool hero leave for anything under his £353million release clause
Paris Saint-Germain have made a world-record transfer offer for Philippe Coutinho, according to reports.
But Mundo Deportivo in Spain suggest PSG have submitted the astonishing bid, which would represent a profit of almost £100million for Barcelona were they to accept, to one of the players’ representatives.
It is, though, said LaLiga champions Barca would not accept anything under Coutinho’s £353million release clause, no matter how tempting.
The midfielder was a key performer in Brazil’s run to the quarter-finals at World Cup 2018, scoring three goals and outshining Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar.
