A famous YouTube couple once described as the Posh and Becks of the site have posted an emotional joint video announcing the end of their relationship.
David Dobrik, 21, and Liza Koshy - who together have more than 20 million YouTube followers - said: "It wasn't healthy for us to continue to be together… You never know what could happen, but just not now."
During the six-minute video, the pair explained that Koshy, 22, had made the decision to split, and that she was "going through some issues right now".
The actress shed some tears but then made light of the situation, joking that she was crying because although she ended the relationship six months ago "she should have done it sooner".
The YouTube golden couple also admitted that the pressure of their online career was a factor in their split.
Posted on Dobrik's YouTube page, the video has now been viewed more than 5 million times.
The pair, who have previously posted parodies of "cute couples rubbing it in everyone's face" explained that they were "so young" and "have a lot of growth, development, learning and loving to do".
Dobrik ends the video by planting a kiss on Koshy's cheek, while she playfully taps him on the side of the face.
Fans expressed their sadness on Twitter, with one saying: "Not to be dramatic but this is the worst day ever."

"The fact that David and Liza sat down, told us they broke up while still cracking jokes and supporting each other is sad yet so inspiring... that's real love and respect. major props to them," another user said.
One fan said she hoped the pair would rekindle their relationship: "Do we all agree that David and Liza are off limits forever because they're definitely getting back together in the future?"
In the UK, high profile British vloggers Zoella, 28, and Alfie Deyes, 24 - who have a combined YouTube following of 14 million - have so far survived the pressures of a relationship in the public eye.
The pair, who often appear in one another's videos - have each successfully released numerous books and lines of merchandise since revealing their relationship back in 2013.
They now live together in a seven-bedroom house in Brighton which they renovated together, and share a pet pug called Nala.
