Former West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison has urged former teammate Carlton Cole to help him secure a return to the Premier League side.
Morrison, who currently plays for Mexican side Atlas FC, posted a video on his official Instagram page of him scoring an incredible goal in training.
Former Hammers striker Cole duly commented on the post, saying:” Bro time to come back to England.”
And the former Manchester United prodigy wasted no time in issuing a come-and-get-me plea to his former club.
He said: “Bring me back to West Ham you have the power.”
The 25-year-old endured mixed fortunes in east London during his three years at the club.
After joining from the Red Devils in what was seen as a real coup by then-manager Sam Allardyce, Morrison only featured on a few occasions as the club looked to regain promotion to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
After a season on loan with Birmingham City during the 2012-13 season, the midfielder came back to feature far more prominently for Allardyce’s side the following season.
It was during this time he showcased his exceptional ability and went down in club folklore by scoring the final goal in a 3-0 defeat of London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, after a mazy run from the halfway line.
Attitude problems had always haunted the talented star, and loan spells to Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City followed before he reached a pre-contract agreement with Serie A side Lazio in January 2015.
He failed to impress in Rome and, after a largely unproductive loan spell with QPR again, he was allowed to leave on a free to Mexico.
